CCL1 and Crohn disease: SNP-associated enhancers were predicted to interact with several disease-relevant genes, including PTGER4 (Fig. 7b), TRIB1 (Fig. 7c), CCL1, OTUD1 and ARMC352,53, and genes so far not associated with Crohn’s disease ENKUR and THNSL1. For example, promoters of PTGER4 were predicted to interact with enhancers more than 250 kb upstream of the gene situated in an LD block of GWAS-associated SNPs (Fig. 7b).
