IL1B and Salmonella Infections: Our results demonstrate that Salmonella infection could induce intestinal inflammation of newly hatched chicks by increasing the levels of inflammatory meditator myeloperoxidase and proinflammatory cytokines LITAF, IL-1β, and IL-6, and L. plantarum LTC-113 could alleviate intestinal inflammation induced by Salmonella in newly hatched chicks.
