CrebA expression was significantly reduced in both RelE20 (p = 0.0456 for P. rettgeri and p = 0.0020 for E. faecalis) and spzrm7 (p = 0.0118 for P. rettgeri and p = 0.0026 for E. faecalis) mutants relative to wildtype controls, indicating that both the Imd and Toll pathways contribute to infection-induced CrebA upregulation. Here, TLR4 is linked to infection.
