In this study, the overexpression of miR-302a-5p/367-3p or knockdown of HMGA2 in endometrial cancer cells decreased the expression of EMT-related proteins, such as MMP-2, MMP-9, Snail, Slug and N-cadherin, while increasing the expression of E-cadherin. This evidence concerns the gene HMGA2 and endometrial cancer.
