Interestingly, the level of PDGFRα, an important receptor tyrosine kinase involved in the development and progression of ovarian cancer [2, 27–30], was correlated with the sensitivity to DHA-induced cytotoxicity, while there was no correlation for other receptors including PDGFRβ, VEGFRs, EGFR,TLRs, ERα, AR, integrins, PGRMC1 (Figure 1a and Supplementary Figure S1). This evidence concerns the gene PDGFRA and ovarian cancer.
