It has been reported that the oral ingestion of LPSp improved the alopecia status in mice that developed atopic dermatitis (Wakame, Komatsu, Inagawa, & Nishizawa, 2015), and it was also suggested that the gene expression of VEGF, when stimulated by LPSp, was increased in an LPSp dose‐dependent manner in human dermal papilla cell (Wakame et al., 2016). The gene discussed is VEGFA; the disease is alopecia.
