It was confirmed that acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) and acute nonlymphocytic leukemia (ANLL) have increased levels of various reactive oxygen (ROS) such as superoxide radicals, H2O2, and decreased levels of enzymatic (SOD and CAT) and nonenzymatic antioxidants compared to healthy individuals [20–22]. Here, SOD1 is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
