Circ-ITCH was reported to be downregulated in colorectal cancer [11], esophageal squamous cell carcinoma [12], lung cancer [13] and hepatocellular carcinoma [14], and a powerful tumor suppressor among through a classic pathway in which circ-ITCH served as a sponge for certain miRNAs targeting their parental transcripts of ITCH [11–13]. This evidence concerns the gene ITCH and lung carcinoma.
