MKI67 and breast carcinoma: The recent finding by the group of Pierdominici and Ortona of a correlation between the titer of ERABs raised against the alpha form of the receptor (ERαABs) in sera from a series of women with breast cancer and the percentage of Ki67-positive cells (a known marker of proliferation) in samples taken from their tumors [2] offered to me an opportunity to discuss here the possible implication of these antibodies in the development of breast cancers.
