Remarkably, the tumor suppressor miRNA, hsa-miR-124, targeted the majority of detected mRNA targets (75% of 56) that were involved with developmental processes (EFNB3, NR4A3, PAX3 and SYNOP2), cell-cell communication (AFF1, RALGPS2 and TSPAN6), and metabolic processes (CUL5, GRSF1, SGMS2, STK35 and ZFAND3).
