CRP and pneumococcal bacteremia: The univariate logistic regression analysis revealed that age < 65 years, respiratory rate > 30 breaths/min, heart rate > 125 beats/min, IRVS, albumin < 3.0 mg/dL, BUN > 30 mg/dL, serum sodium < 130 mEq/L, and CRP > 20 mg/dL were associated with increased odds of pneumococcal bacteremia.
