Strikingly, in CAD patients (CAD and CAD+T2DM groups), CTRP9 was found to be significantly associated with BMI (β [SE] = 1.64 [0.815], p = 0.045), adiponectin (β [SE] = -4.37 [1.13]; p < 0.001), sE-Selectin (β [SE] = 0.757 [0.216]; p = 0.001), sICAM-1 (β [SE] = 0.142 [0.05); p = 0.003), sVCAM-1 (β [SE] = 0.091 [0.03]; p = 0.001) and TNF-α (β [SE] = 1.192 [0.53]; p = 0.026). This evidence concerns the gene ADIPOQ and coronary artery disorder.
