Therefore, we chose BICD1, the top-ranked gene in impacting the overall survival of GBM patients (HR=1.577; 95% CI=1.299-1.914; P=0.000004) (Figure 1D), as a candidate marker because of its high potential in developing a biomarker of GBMs, and its novelty in the study of GBMs. The gene discussed is BICD1; the disease is glioblastoma.
