Regarding the cancer-associated genes FCGR2B, encoding a low affinity receptor for the Fc-region of immunoglobulin gamma complexes; CD79B, encoding the immunoglobulin beta protein which is necessary for functioning of the B-cell antigen receptor; and PRKAR1A, encoding one of the regulatory subunits of the cAMP-dependent protein kinase, not much is known about their role in MPM. This evidence concerns the gene CD79B and cancer.
