Twenty-four-hour exposure of palmitate (0.25mM) to AML-12 cells, led to significant decrease in cell viability (20%, p<0.05) (Supplementary Figure 1E), and subsequent up-regulation of PARP1 (2.5 fold) and of cleaved caspase-3 (1.9 fold), (Figure 4A). Here, PARP1 is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
