We demonstrated here that IL-17B, through binding to IL-17RB, promotes paclitaxel resistance in luminal and TN/basal-like breast cancer cells in vitro and in vivo and brought the first proof of concept that neutralization of the IL-17B/IL-17RB pathway could sensitize breast tumors to paclitaxel therapy. The gene discussed is IL17B; the disease is breast neoplasm.
