No significant difference was found in the number of B. burgdorferi B31-specific IFN-γ-secreting T cells/2.5 × 105 PBMCs between the following three groups: active Lyme neuroborreliosis patients (median, 6.0; IQR, 0.5 to 14.0), treated Lyme neuroborreliosis patients (median, 4.5; IQR, 2.0 to 18.6), and treated healthy individuals (median, 7.4; IQR, 2.3 to 14.9) (P ≥ 1.000) (Fig. 1). The gene discussed is IFNG; the disease is Lyme disease.
