Several melanocyte autoantigens have been detected in vitiligo patients including tyrosinase, tyrosinase-related protein 1, tyrosinase-related protein 2, melanosomal matrix protein gp 100 (Pmel17), melanocyte transcription factor (SOX10), and melanin concentrating hormone receptor 1 (MCHR1) [7]. Here, TYRP1 is linked to vitiligo.
