CRP and chorioamnionitis: Neonatal CRP (P = 1.79 × 10-8, Mann–Whitney), duration of neonatal antibiotics (118 hours vs. 44 hours, P = 3.12 × 10-8, Mann–Whitney), maternal CRP (P = 0.0008, Mann–Whitney U) and presence of chorioamnionitis +/- funisitis (P = 0.0051, chi-squared) were all significantly higher compared to PPROM cases without EONS.
