Notably, the less frequently methylated genes (less than 30%) were as follows: CDH13, p16, MGMT, GAL, NPY, GALR2, and VEGFR3 for hypopharyngeal cancers; CDH13, p16, RASSF1A, GAL, NPY, and NPY1R for laryngeal cancers; and CDH13 and GAL for oral cavity cancers (Figure 1).
