DPP10 is a potassium channel-associated protein (Chen et al., 2014; Kitazawa et al., 2015), but unlike other DPP family members, mammalian DPP10 lacks enzymatic activity and is unable to cleave terminal dipeptides from asthma-related cytokines and chemokines (Allen et al., 2003). The gene discussed is DPP10; the disease is asthma.
