By using univariate analysis (Table 2), the gender (P = 0.029), tumor size (P = 0.004), lymph node metastasis (P < 0.001), distant metastasis (P = 0.001), TNM stage (P < 0.001) and SR-BI mRNA level (P = 0.009) were significantly related to the PFS of ccRCC patients, suggesting SR-BI serves as a prognostic factor. This evidence concerns the gene SCARB1 and metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
