CD8A and bronchopulmonary dysplasia: In lung tissues, CD8+ T cells were not randomly dispersed, allowing their accurate detection; however, comparison of the number of IFN-γ-producing CD8+ T cells in spleen tissue from BPD rats in the LPS and LPS with VitD groups at P15 revealed that the VitD treatment led to a significant decrease in the frequency of IFN-γ-producing CD8+ T cells in the spleen, as indicated by a reduction in the potential for IFN-γ production (Figure 3A, B).
