In addition, changes at rs1049353, rs806380, rs2180619, rs806379, rs12720071, rs2023239 and the haplotype rs6454674-rs806380-rs806377-rs1049353 in the cannabinoid receptor 1 gene (CNR1) and at rs2501431 in the cannabinoid receptor 2 gene (CNR2) were found to be associated with working memory dysfunction, enhanced impulsivity, neurocognitive impairments, anxiety disorder, and depression in cannabis users9–13. This evidence concerns the gene CNR1 and depressive disorder.
