We found that tyrphostin AG-825, a specific ErbB2-kinase inhibitor, leads to a decrease in ErbB2–nucleolin interaction, and since it was previously found to affect tumorigenicity of several types of ErbB2-positive cancers, including breast cancer34–36,38, we chose this inhibitor for further study in combination with GroA. This evidence concerns the gene CXCL1 and cancer.
