To examine LIPG expression in breast cancer cell lines, we performed in silico analysis of LIPG mRNA expression in the Hoeflich dataset (Hoeflich et al., 2009) retrieved from the Oncomine database, including microarray expression datasets of 48 different breast cancer cell lines [basal-like (n = 20), Her2-amplified (n = 15) and luminal (n = 13)]. This evidence concerns the gene LIPG and breast carcinoma.
