In 452 patients, 182 (40.3%) melanomas were BRAF-mutant, 95 (21.0%) were NRAS-mutant, and 180 (39.8%) were wild-type (no BRAF mutation and no NRAS mutation); only 5 (1.1%) were both BRAF-mutant and NRAS-mutant. The gene discussed is NRAS; the disease is melanoma.
