In previous studies, low expression of FBXW7 in cancer tissue was found to be associated with poor prognosis and cancer progression in several solid cancers, including gastric cancer [9], colorectal cancer [11], esophageal cancer [10, 18], non-small cell lung cancer [19], cholangiocarcinoma [12, 13], and hepatocellular carcinoma [20]. This evidence concerns the gene FBXW7 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
