As shown in Figures 1(a) and 1(b), after donor cardiac arrest for 30 min in vivo and 24 h cold storage ex vivo, the levels of ALT and AST in the liver perfusate were remarkably increased at 5, 15, 30, and 60 min compared with those in the normal control group, while the peak was found at warm reperfusion for 60 min. This evidence concerns the gene GPT and cardiac arrest.
