Stable CaSR expression in HT29, a human colon cancer cell line, promotes an epithelial-like morphology with increased E-cadherin levels and a reduced invasive potential by blocking the Wnt/β-catenin pathway, decreasing GSK-3β and Cyclin D1, and decreasing nuclear translocation of β-catenin22. This evidence concerns the gene CASR and malignant colon neoplasm.
