Higher PTH levels (pg/ml) were observed in subjects with MetS than in those without MetS among both genders (60.1 (58.6–61.6) vs. 62.4 (60.7–64.2) in males p = 0.018, 60.7 (59.4–62.1) vs. 63.9 (62.4–65.6) in females, p < 0.001). Here, PTH is linked to metabolic syndrome.
