In flow-sorted populations of AML cells with immature immunophenotypes, IRX3 was highly expressed (i.e., among the top 25% of array probeset values) in 33% (Saito et al., 2010) (Figure S1B), 58% (Kikushige et al., 2010) (Figure S1C), and 19% (Goardon et al., 2011) (Figure S1D) of samples. This evidence concerns the gene IRX3 and acute myeloid leukemia.
