NFKB1 and in situ carcinoma: Surprisingly, P-MAPA and the combination of P-MAPA with CIS induced the upregulation of cytosolic NF-kB p65 (1.61- and 1.69-fold increases, respectively vs. OC; Fig. 6a, b), and more effectively, P-MAPA, CIS, and P-MAPA+CIS treatments dramatically enhanced nuclear NF-kB p65 (1.49-, 1.50-, and 1.58-fold increases, respectively vs. OC; Fig. 6b, c); particularly, a considerable amount of the NF-kB p65 complex was translocated into the nucleus.
