LARP1 and cervical cancer: These data suggest that elevated levels of LARP1 are associated with a variety of cancers (Burrows et al., 2010; Xie et al., 2013); for example in cervical cancer, LARP1 protein expression correlates with increasing disease progression whereby stepwise elevations in LARP1 expression are observed from the pre‐invasive stages (CIN1–3) into invasive disease (Burrows et al., 2010; Hopkins et al., 2016).
