SNAI2 has five zinc finger domains that play a pivotal role during embryo development and mesenchymal tumorigenesis and has been found to be overexpressed in several cancers, and it also promotes invasion in lung adenocarcinoma, glioma, and ovarian, cervical, and pancreatic cancers and is a prognostic marker in some cancers [24, 35]. Here, SNAI2 is linked to central nervous system cancer.
