Furthermore, Western blot analysis of a freshly frozen sample of the frontal cortex revealed phosphorylated tau triplet bands (60, 64, and 68 kDa) (arrow) similar to those observed in patients with Alzheimer’s disease (see Supplementary Fig. S2) and did not reveal a decrease in BSN expression (see Supplementary Fig. S3). This evidence concerns the gene BSN and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
