In normal human endometrium and in some human uterine tumors, a chimeric RNA involving a JAZF1 sequence from 7p15 and a JJAZ1 sequence from 17q11 has been reported to be derived via a trans-splicing like mechanism [78,79,80], although it has been known that these uterine tumors bear a JAZF1-JJAZ1 fusion gene at high frequencies [78,81,82,83,84,85]. This evidence concerns the gene JAZF1 and tumor of uterus.
