In men, ARMS2 A69S TT genotype was found in 16.7% and associated with increased odds of early AMD (OR: 1.65, 95% CI: 1.02–2.69), while CFH I62V TT genotype was found in 17.8% of men and not associated with the risk (OR: 1.43, 95% CI: 0.88–2.32). Here, ARMS2 is linked to age-related macular degeneration.
