We identified genes previously associated with patient survival (e.g., MAST3, LRRTM2, PEX5L, and GADD45A), disease progression (e.g., ACSL4, AMFR, ARHGEF7, BASP1, EHMT2, MAP3K1, MLLT1, CD151, CDC14B, and E2F3), tumor resistance to radiotherapy or chemotherapy (e.g., ABBC3, PTPRC, ACTN1, EI24, and LCN2), and genes related to stem cell function and putative tumor evolution from a primary or secondary glioblastoma (e.g., CDKN1A, ID1, and ID3, see Supplementary Information). The gene discussed is ACSL4; the disease is neoplasm.
