The Arf6-based pathway is overexpressed in a large population of human breast cancer to be tightly correlated with poor prognosis and poor overall survival of the patients [13, 16, 19], but this overexpression seems to occur rather randomly among the four major subtypes of human breast cancer, and is not statistically correlated with TP53 mutations [19]. This evidence concerns the gene ARF6 and breast carcinoma.
