Furthermore, our study cohort predominantly contains localized PCa with low- to intermediate risk profile (Gleason score 3 + 4 in 66.9%, preoperative PSA of 4–10 ng/ml in 63.3%, pT2 in 68.7% and negative margins in 81.3% patients) allowing pre-selection of patients with favorable prognosis. This evidence concerns the gene KLK3 and posterior cortical atrophy.
