Statistical significance was limited to the female population of MS patients (rs3789327 p-value = 0.007, x2 = 15.03; rs6811520 p-value = 0.007, x2 = 15.05) while in the male population we have not observed any statistically significant differences in distribution of genotypes/alleles in the ARNTL and CLOCK genes (rs3789327 p-value = 0.06, x2 = 9.6; rs6811520 p-value = 3.1, x2 = 1.63). The gene discussed is BMAL1; the disease is myeloid sarcoma.
