The ionized magnesium fraction and serum albumin levels of the normal pregnancy were significantly higher than those of the preeclampsia group (26.28 ± 2.3% vs. 23.95 ± 4.7% p = .04 and 3.55 ± 0.2 g/dL vs. 3.32 ± 0.3 g/dL, p < .001, respectively) (Figure 1).
