Infection with Fbp1-deficient yeast resulted in a significantly increased influx of monocytes (Fig. 2F), as well as their maturation into CD11c+ class II+ mo-DCs (Fig. 5A to C), as examined by the percentage of CD11c+ class II+ cells among monocytes (Fig. 5A and B) and by the total number of mo-DCs recruited to the lungs (Fig. 5C).
