MICA and neoplasm: Germain et al. [40] created a fusion protein with the extracellular domain of MICA and Fc region, and then chemically conjugated it with the Fab fragments of three monoclonal antibodies against tumor-associated antigens: anti-CEA against carcinoembryonic antigen [48], trastuzumab against HER2 [49], and rituximab against CD20 [50].
