MGF is a C-glucosyl xanthone (C2-β-d-glucopyranosyl-1,3,6,7-tetrahydroxyxanthone) that is a predominant constituent in extracts of the mango plant Mangifera indica L. Recently, we reported that MGF can enhance insulin sensitivity and mitigate glucose intolerance in HFD-induced insulin resistant mice [19]. Here, INS is linked to Glucose intolerance.
