To exam whether HOXA11-AS exerted its function in HCC cells through functioning as a ceRNA, we first measured the percentage of HOXA11-AS in the cytoplasmic and nuclear fractions of SMMC-7721 and Bel-7402 cells because its locating in cytoplasmic is a prerequisite for functioning as a ceRNA. The gene discussed is HOXA11; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
