PTCs with TERT+BRAF mutation had lateral lymph node metastasis more frequently than PTCs with BRAF mutation alone (OR = 22.557, 95% CI = 2.181–233.294) and demonstrated non-parallel orientation on US more frequently than PTCs without any mutation (OR = 11.282, 95% CI = 1.008–126.270) (Figures 1 and 3). The gene discussed is TERT; the disease is metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
