TNFRSF11A and rheumatoid arthritis: Although best known for its involvement in the pathogenesis of osteoporosis and other bone diseases such as Paget’s disease of bone (53–55) and PD (38, 56), the OPG/RANK–RANKL pathway has also been implicated in other diseases including RA (14, 38, 57) and CVD (58–60).
