Serum CypB level was significantly higher in MetS subjects than in both groups of non-MetS subjects (193.80 ± 83.22 vs. 168.38 ± 65.01 vs. 124.26 ± 47.83 ng/mL, P < 0.001) and was also higher in the high-risk group compared with the healthy controls (Figure 1A).
